Please, whatever you do, don't use Atlas to move from NL to the US (or anywhere).
I have never written a review, but my experience is making me do so in hopes that nobody else gets scammed.
The Atlas saleswoman told me in mid-April they "were not experiencing any delays like other shipping companies so if you want the quick 6-8 week delivery, get a full container instead of partial."
They actually were experiencing delays at the time -- I know this because I contacted Hapag and other Atlas customers. But they chose not to share that information.
When they took everything later in April, they contacted me a few days later and said it would be thousands more Euros and take many weeks longer.
My possessions didn't leave port until June and they tried to charge me a storage fee for every day the items didn't move.
It's now August, and my items still haven't arrived. They are now demanding more additional charges (including more storage charges for the next port) even though the nine thousand euro cost was sold to me as "all inclusive."
I've escalated things as far as the CEO and he simply does not care or take accountability.
There are so many more details I could share. I am in the midst of working with a lawyer.
Please, don't give them business.
PROS: The moving guys are really nice and efficient. I've moved many times and they're the best I've had. That's why I gave two stars instead one!
