My item had a lead time of 1-2 weeks. When I purchased the item the initial order status was "processing" and it stayed there until the item was shipped 2 weeks later. I could be clearer if the had another status after "processing" and before the item is shipped to let the customer know that the order has already been processed by it has moved forward to the next step before sending the item to the customer.
