I was a little leery of buying my Surveillance Station licenses from a foreign company when everywhere else conducted business by physical key card, but information I found online indicated they... I was a little leery of buying my Surveillance Station licenses from a foreign company when everywhere else conducted business by physical key card, but information I found online indicated they were authorized resellers of Synology products so I made the purchase through their website a somewhat less cost than the others would have been. It was a bit confusing because the currency changed when I put the item in the shopping cart, but after checking that the exchange rate made the amount the same I proceeded. After receiving the license key I applied it to my NAS and was instantly able to add the 4 additional cameras I had paid for. Success! The Synology licenses are still too expensive, but I guess that's the cost of convenience. I might buy more if they didn't cost so much.
