I worked with Bas van de Wetering and Jan van den Belt on an issue I had with a Vanity103 HD card in my Oppo BDP-103D where I was getting horrible hiss/white noise when attempting SACD playback. Though the board was technically outside the warranty period and I was not the original purchaser, the team agreed to test the player and board for me. It turned out that the Vanity board had an electrical defect, and the team replaced the board with a new one and shipped it back to me.
I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with the company. I was honestly not expecting to be given such great customer service given that I purchased the modified player on the used market from the original purchaser. JVB even paid for shipping of the modified player back to me after the board repair was complete!

The website is a little hard to navigate to find information about the different Oppo modifications and how much certain additional services for those players (like the Codefree or region free modifications) are. This is a very minor point though.
