It´s made in China. The connectors look very cheap: hard plastic, no possibility to adjust to the bicycle rack => the bag slips during cycling on the rack => my feet then touch the bag from time to time.
It looks as if the connectors could be replaced, once they are broken, but I cannot finde spare parts on the homepage.
Optically the bag is great and mostly made from organic material, unfortunately not ecologically responsable grown!? Unlike most bags of this kind, the straps are made from cotton instead of plastics.
Since the OUTER dimensions are 40x12x37 cm³ (=17,760 L) I cannot believe, that the bag manages to hold up to 20 L as stated.
When using wax (e.g. fjaellraven) canvas can be tuned water repellend for some time, without the need for a plastic raincover.
