I had open rhinoplasty at Centre for Surgery last month, and all I can say is wow. I am blown away at the level of care I received from every single person I came into contact with. From the lovely ladies doing my blood pressure and measuring me for stockings to the nurse, the anaesthetist and anaesthetist assistant - followed by the theatre staff, and the surgeon. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and such a welcoming attitude - nothing was too much trouble. It was my first ever surgery experience so I was very nervous! This was something I wanted since I was a young girl and an experience I will never forget. I spoke to the lovely nurse called Monica who listened to my over the top worries about being put to sleep - and she gave me lots of reassurance and told me I would be ok. I saw the surgeon before my surgery and who went through the procedure. Such a professional but friendly man full of confidence - exactly why I chose Dr Misra to do my surgery. When it was my time, the anaesthetist assistant came to get me, tried so much to keep me calm and reassured me as I laid down in the theatre. The anaesthetist popped my cannula in no time, and before I knew it I had woken up in recovery to be told my surgery was over! I was wheeled back to my space and within 2hrs or so, I was allowed to go home! Every single person I came into contact with was pleasant, reassuring, professional and so caring. I was given tea and biscuits (love a good cuppa tea!) and looked after with such dignity and respect. I cannot find any fault with your wonderful hospital. If I ever opt for a future procedure, I wouldn't hesitate to choose Centre for Surgery for it. You are all angels. Thank you so much xxx
