Been using Gekko for my (ZZP / freelance) accountancy since 2018, and been consistently recommending it to friends. It's one of the best value/quality software I use as a freelancer and does everything I need: invoices, expenses, keeping track of my hours for each projects I work on, calculating depreciation my laptop, and generating VAT declarations (do this yourself instead of paying a bookkeeper and save on that, it takes just 5 minutes with Gekko!). I also appreciate that they have been able to refine and grow their product with their user base at the center of their concern.
