I am not new to this kind of meals, I've already tried Joylent (I think it's called Jimmy Joy now) and Mana and have been using them regularly for over a year now. I think your product is similar to Joylent - the consistency / texture feels similar and you are both pretty tasty.
However, I don't buy these foods for taste. I buy them to a) save money when travelling; b) quickly fill me up when I don't have time for any other food (basically I use it as a much healthier fast food). That said, there are 2 big reasons why I would not go for Queal again (neither Joylent by the way).
1) Last time I checked, you are 28% more expensive than both Joylent and Mana. I would not have problem with this if I felt your product is superior to them, which unfortunately I don't.
2) You have too high amount of carbohydrates and too little fat (this applies to Joylent as well). For instance Mana also produces an oil that you mix into a meal. Mana has only 1 flavour so you are much more superior in taste but this fact alone, that you're missing this oil, makes your product unusable for me. There are 2 reasons why - I can't find a proper amount of powder to use - I will either take too little powder and am hungry afterwads, or I will take too much and am so full that my "gastro-dementia" sets in. Following your guidelines ends up overfilling me (and I am 90kg, almost 2m tall). Anyway, the second reason is that even if I eat too much I still end up hungry very fast. The food just burns through my system so quickly... With Mana, I've never had this problem. The oil makes all the difference.
I am writing this review because I hope to see this industry kick off and I want to provide feedback to help it. I am quite an advocate and already converted some friends to try Mana too. Mana is the only producer that adds oil to meals (to my knowledge) and some competition would be more healthy for the industry at whole :).

Thank you for the review Samuel.
Great to see that you want to help and good to hear about your various experiences.
We actually do use oil and have recently started using even more in our powder. Unlike Mana, we infuse the oil in our powder (micro-coating). But it's actual sunflower and linseed oil in Queal.
I understand that Mana may be the best fit for you at the moment, but if you ever reconsider, feel free to also read our updates blog on our new recipe (which will be available for all flavours in a few months) https://queal.com/queal5.0
