I am a short woman on a restricted calorie diet and so I measure out 300g of Queal for each day. I've tried the Chocolate Hazelnut and Banana powders, plus a Carrot Ready and a Nuts bar, thus far. The Ready wasn't as good as I thought it would be, but it was a texture thing. I think I need to add more water to thin it the next time I try it as it was super chunky, and I like thinned porridge in general.
The chocolate hazelnut powder was really good. I love Nutella and Rocher candies (hence why I'm calorie restricting now), and the shake has great flavor.
I'm not a banana flavor fan at all unless it's a real banana in my hand I eat like a monkey, and even then the flavor overwhelms me about halfway through and I can't finish it. And they're slimy, yuck. Artificial banana flavor makes me gag so when I went to smell the banana powder for the first time, it was a very reluctant, scrunched face, delicate sniff. And I didn't smell anything beyond an oat smell. I was surprised. So I made the shake, certain I was going to hate it because banana and it was going to sneak up on me even though I couldn't smell it. But it's good. Really, really good. The banana flavor is so mild you could certainly miss it if you wanted to, but it accents the oat flavor so well. I might actually like it as much as chocolate hazelnut, and that's saying something for a banana hater. Good work!
