Mixed but mostly positive - I love the website, the packaging (the bags are so easy to open and reseal!) and the quality of the shaker is good. I got the Try-Out Deal and I first tried the Ready Oats and was seriously disappointed. The oats quickly became hard as they cooled down enough to eat, the texture was somewhat upsetting and the taste was very bitter and medicinal. The experience was a lot like bad instant oatmeal with ground up vitamin pills, and I feared for the rest of my purchase. (I still haven't tried the Berry oats, as I am a bit scared! Next time I will try to make it with more water or milk and maybe add a tiny bit of sugar.)
Luckily, the next day I tried Queal Steady Banana Mania, which was absolutely delicious. Cool Chocolate is also good. Steady blends very easily, and has no medicinal aftertaste at all, it simply tastes like a smoothie with oats. They're very good, and I am a big fan.
I also tried the Go Bar with Salted Nuts, which tastes mostly like a bunch of ground up salted nuts - which it is. The texture is slightly oily, like organic peanut butter, which I personally like. It's good, but I'd personally like a sweet touch, such as the dark chocolate bottom you often see on muesli bars. There's no "vitamin pill"-aftertaste. I'd love to try the chocolate bars when they become available again.
I also tried Flow a few times. I am still not sure if it has an effect or not, I think I might have felt slightly less stressed at work, but I find it difficult to drink just mixed in water, as it has a very sour/bitter aftertaste that makes me shudder, so I have to drink it quickly like medicine.
Overall, I love the idea of the products, and I am a super-taster so I am extremely sensitive to bitterness and medicinal aftertastes, so my experience probably isn't typical. I am sure it tastes even better to "normal" people, and I do love the Steady Shakes. I will be ordering more of those!
