I initially paid for the boiling water & cold/sparkling water system in April.
The engineer came to install the products only to tell us that the cold/sparkling water unit doesn't fit in the cupboard with the hot water unit & that the sales person should have got us to measure all of this at the time of ordering.
He then told us that there was a new smaller unit coming & to speak to the office about it.
We spoke to the office & they advised us that the new units were due out in July/August. We decided to wait for the new units to come out & not bother getting a refund.
We eventually got a call to arrange installation of the new unit in September.
That proceed to stop working 24 hours later. I spoke to the office & arranged for a new unit which was installed 10 days later.
This unit stopped working 24 hours later. Our third unit got installed at 2.30pm today. At 5.15pm when I got in from work it had already stopped working!!
In fairness. We've had the same engineer install all three units & he has been great. He has told us that there is an issue with the units getting bashed about on the couriers.
This is the only real info that we have had from Quooker. I have sent three emails to date & have still received no reply for any one of them. Phoning them up is a nightmare as the minimum amount of time I've spent on hold for them is 35mins.
The customer service from the office is absolutely shocking & probably the worst I have ever received.
I am now going to have to sit on hold to speak to them for another hour tomorrow to tell them to come & disconnect their unit up & give me my money back.
I'll stick to pay 40p for bottles of soda water out of Asda's
