Having instant hot water at the turn of a tap is such a time saver in many respects. It saves on energy. No need to boil a kettle for just a cup full of water. For cooking purposes you have instant hot water.
On the safety front........I have rheumatoid arthritis and not have to negotiate lifting a heavy kettle of boiling water has been a boon for me.
