We encountered some challenges with the flexibility and responsiveness of the staff member we communicated with via telephone at the entry point of the park. We found ourselves in a situation where we were required to arrive at the park at 1 am, which was not ideal for us. Despite being aware of the gates opening time, we faced inclement weather with heavy rain, and our kids were asleep in the car after a long journey, making it difficult to walk to our accommodation located approximately 15 minutes away from the gate. Considering the circumstances and the presence of young children, we were hoping for some assistance or understanding from the person on the phone in terms of offering a solution.
Regrettably, the person on the phone did not display any willingness to assist or provide service-oriented communication. Consequently, we were compelled to make the entire journey to the accommodation on foot, resulting in us and the kids getting wet and cold the following day.
While we understand that rules are in place, we believe that exceptional circumstances should be taken into account, especially when children are involved. Unfortunately, the experience we had that day was quite unpleasant, and we feel it could have been handled more empathetically and professionally.
