We travelled to Capetown and Johannesburg in February and March of 2018. Had I known ENOUGH about planning an African Safari in advance of our trip, I would had chosen every detail be as tailored to us—as perfect for us—as it turned out to be. But I had never traveled to S Africa, so I placed our family in the very capable care of Vanessa Stanley. Vanessa chatted with me for hours, really trying to understand what type of trip would 100% please us and be RIGHT for us. She missed not a single nuance of what type of experience would not only completely satisfy us, but also stir within us an eagerness to do it all again!
The real props of our trip go out to Sabi Sabi Game Preserve, but again, THAT is where Vanessa booked us. There was not one thing about our entire stay that could have been improved upon. RangerPieter, Guide Richard, Hostess Tondi. . . enough so, that we have already discussed requesting every detail be exactly the same when we return.
I was THRILLED to hear from Vanessa and would feel even more comfortable entrusting her with every detail than I did earlier this year. Vanessa really knows her trips, and she has proven her ability to have her finger on the pulse of what we desired.
