I am a retired chef and I try to work a shift every other week. While most of the experience is positive, I do have a couple concerns. 1. Employers need to update dress requirements and reporting procedures. Some are outdated or inaccurate. 2. I don't think I should lose pay for a break that I was never given. 3. Upshift needs to verify work experience of its employees. I have worked with numerous Upshifters who couldn't possibly have had the experience required in the posting.
