Upshift used to be a good company to work for. It’s not anymore. I live in the Dayton ohio area and Upshift rarely offers jobs in the area anymore. The communication with Upshift is real generic anymore and it’s impossible to get an answer. They tell me I’m talking to real people but it seems like robots. The last event I worked for Upshift cost me more than it needed to. I was told I would not be able to park at the event. All other upshifters parked at the event. I messaged the people on the app & got a real bot like response telling me I would not be able to park at the event. All other Upshift workers had driven & parked at the event. I still don’t understand why I was treated differently from everyone else. I have messaged with 3 different people on the app & nobody will give me an answer of why I was treated differently from other Upshift workers. I had to pay $30 for a ride to the event & back while the other workers had the luxury of parking their cars there. I do not feel that Upshift is an equal opportunity employer. I feel discriminated due to my sex & skin color. I would also like to note I have experienced a lot of sexual harassment working Upshift jobs and I feel there is nobody to report it to. Need a more open line of communication & less bots.
