I had a good experience learning a language at UvA Talen, because the teachers took the time to explain the grammar and really challenged me to engage in class through conversations etc. The only thing that bothered me a little bit with my last course was that the teacher weekly asked us to hand in assignments as writing letters i.e., but we never got any feedback on that.
