The Lendahand website is easy but getting everything approved takes a few days. Also making the actual investment (transfer) takes a couple of hours. Other than that, procedures are straight-forward.

While the projects and purposes are great, Lendahand has proven to be a poor caretaker of the investments I entrusted them with. There have been multiple, long-time partners that have stopped paying instalments over the last two years. Lendahand does not appear to be very active in resolving those situations, and information shared with investors is often not more than a “no news” update following months of silence. If the goal is to support development projects through philanthropy, Lendahand should change their business model.

- While the official advise is to not invest “too much” in any particular partner, Landahand does not make it easy to track past investments in a partner while you are considering whether or not to contribute to a new project from that partner. Clearly, there’s a conflict of interests here between Landahand and investors.
