The Lendahand website is easy but getting everything approved takes a few days. Also making the actual investment (transfer) takes a couple of hours. Other than that, procedures are straight-forward.

This was exactly the platform I was looking for. It is an unique oppurtunity to invest small amounts of money in exciting project in developing countries.

While the projects and purposes are great, Lendahand has proven to be a poor caretaker of the investments I entrusted them with. There have been multiple, long-time partners that have stopped paying instalments over the last two years. Lendahand does not appear to be very active in resolving those situations, and information shared with investors is often not more than a “no news” update following months of silence. If the goal is to support development projects through philanthropy, Lendahand should change their business model.

Been using Lendahand for four years now, and I am very happy I started investing here. I trust my money is used to do good.

These days the investment and payment process is smooth, and the website appears stable, there are regularly new loan projects, still, more project diversity is needed (South/Midle America, Africa, Asia)
