When it is working the tap is great, however if anything goes wrong the after sales service is unacceptable for a premium product. I need an engineer to come and look at the tap which has a mixer valve problem. It is 6 weeks to get an engineer to attend our property leaving the only tap in the kitchen servicing the sink without hot water to wash up etc. No local plumbers will touch any service issues with this brand of tap leaving the only option as the Quooker agent. The after sales model needs a huge re-think here.

We are sorry to read this and shall be in touch to bring the visit forward and we will also explain how you can still use normal hot and cold without the Quooker being turned on.

I have reported this to Quooker. They say they can send an engineer out to check it, but if it turns out to be an issue with water pressure or any other ‘non Quooker’ issue then there will be a £150 fee. Our water pressure is above 2 bar (as required) but sometimes drops below that because of demand. Don’t really want to bring an engineer out just in case he blames the water pressure and charges us £150 on top of the £1300 we have already spent!
Read the small print and check your water pressure before you buy.

Our Quooker was plumbed into our softened cold water rather than our unsoftened hard water.
