The location is great directly on the beach, especially if you have children. You have great beach bars right next to the houses. Some of them even have playgrounds for kids. Also the water & beach are perfect for children. Due to the many dogs, dog poo is literally everywhere. So you do have to look out for it but nothing Roompot can influence. Air quality was during our stay bad (7 on Apple Weather – which is the lowest possible rating), which we actually never have experienced before although we live in a very large city. This is due to the large ships going to Rotterdam harbour. However, for a weekend it does not really matter. The accommodation was equipped with extremely basic furniture that was worn down. I would have expected something else for an accommodation that you pay ~300 EUR / night for. At least some better blankets & mattresses would have been nice. What I liked was the large amount of towels – that was extremely handy.

Leider war unsere Unterkunft nicht sehr Strandnah und wir hatten ein wenig Ärger mit anderen Nachbarn die nicht so hundefreundlich waren und sich beschwert haben weil die Hunde bellten. Außerdem hätten wir mehr Mülltüten benötigt. Eine für 7 Tage war recht wenig. Der Roompot war jedoch sehr sauber und gut gepflegt

Excellent getaway for families
Very cozy houses with plenty space for big families. I like support of reception and thank you finding my wedding ring!!!

Really relaxing family getaway.
The accommodation was nice spacious and very well thought out with extras such as the bike storage shed and outdoor seating. The location was really nice...Really relaxing family getaway.

The location was really nice for the beach and cycling along the sea front. Area for improvement - we stayed at roompot kamperland 2022 and the evening entertainment was great night with inflatables a foam part and a disco etc but at this locations nighttime entertainment for kids was less varied.

It was amazing, the houses are very nice, it’s private and very calm, you can definitely relax while staying there, also the place and surrounded beaches are super nice.

We came from a different Roompot park with an exceptional lodge, so expectations were high. The lake was great, restaurant lovely (if a little expensive) but the lodge was a little bit of a let down. The doors clashed into each other. The toilet didn’t have a stink pipe so there was constant malodour. The dishwasher wasn’t fixed into the cabinet so tilted when the door was open and as the panel that should have ‘hidden’ it was missing, it was quite loud. There were no opening windows in the bedrooms. It was ok- everything worked and it was just a base for us really. The outside area was fantastic and Jetty a brilliant asset.

The playground equipment for young children were not safe and not too many outdoor play equipment. Overall, it was very nice place to stay and spend time with family

Very nice setup. Lots of space. Enjoyed our stay. Kids enjoyed the play park and swimming pool. Will go again.
