The infrared sauna was a real surprise. Service of the staff was really awesome. Atmosphere all around the resort was really calm and relaxed. Plenty of nature walks to take through the forest. We really enjoyed our time here. Some minor concerns. The microwave was too high that you need to get on the chair to put your food in. Me being 185cm tall did not help either. There were no sponges or cleaning liquid to clean the kitchen utensils. There were no dishwasher tablets as well. I dont suppose the guest need to bring those with them. At least that is not what I used to do. Not enough toilet paper. Just 2 rolls for 3 people for 1 nights stay. Water doesnt seem to be clean enough to drink. There were much whitish compounds in water. Which may be alright but we did not like it and used our own water for drinking.
But these did not stop us from having a good time here. But a little more thought on these would have earned you the full rating points.

My familys first visit to Vakantiepark Kijkduin was back in the 90s when it was new! At that time we stayed in an Albatross villa, with my mother and our 4 children. We made the visit several times...My familys first visit to Vakantiepark Kijkduin was back in the 90s when it was new! At that time we stayed in an Albatross villa, with my mother and our 4 children. We made the visit several times as our children were growing up. My sister and her family who lived in Den Haag would come and visit us too. Our family on my mothers side are all Dutch. I married an American and have lived there for the past 41 years, but we continue to bring our children and grandchildren to the park. Its wonderful how it has become such a special place for my children and also their spouses over the years. And we all feel my mothers spirit when we stay here. I also hope that my grandchildren will feel part of the spirit as they get older. We now have to hire 2 villas and in the future possibly 3! I am now getting up in years myself but hope to continue to make the trip from the USA. In conclusion, we had a very special time, and were sad to leave but look forward to more happy experiences in Kijkduin to come

It was such an amazing sight! And great house!! Although there might have been a lack of privacy in some areas: windows everywhere and neighbours or people walking by seeing us, the bedroom and terrace made up for this. Also the little bar in the kitchen was a cozy addition! Kitchenware could have been arranged a bit better. Think about bringing your own blackest or pillows for the chairs outside, because you want to experience sitting outside with the fire place and blue skies with the stars. overall, it was an excellent experience!

Huis was prachtig en de omgeving waanzinnig, alleen het weer hadden we niet echt mee. Alleen jammer dat het restaurant/terras maar tot 21.00uur geopend was. En het zwembad maar tot 17.00uur geopend was. Had bijvoorbeeld na het eten nog even willen zwemmen.

Great campsite
The staff were really friendly and helpful at check in. We were in our Motorhome and made use of the shower blocks which were spotlessly clean throughout our stay
