The house was lovely with an unexpectadly large garden area. The beds were also very comfortable which in our prior experience has rarely been the case! Everything was so convenient, cycling up for the morning bakery, access to the beach and the fantastic pool. I only have a couple of minor points, the steep staircase in the house was not mentioned in the listing and would be useful to point this out for some families and the combi microwave oven was pretty hopeless for cooking, an air fryer would be a welcome addition instead!

We liked the stay very much. Had a great time using the sauna and enjoying the quiet surrounding. It would have been great to have some blankets and some pillows for the outdoor chairs. They were somewhat uncomfortable. Also, some additional kitchen equipment would have been nice (utensils like a sieve, some potholders, a salad bowl). The waiters knife and the plastic board were worn out/broken.

The park is too close to the highway, we could hear traffic all through the night. This we werent aware of. However, we were warned of the flights from Kleine Brogel and they decided to fly F16s between 22:00 and 24:00 in the night. There were other small problems like being unable to switch off the porch lights which lit up the whole apartment through the night. But otherwise, great stay, great deal overall and great value for money
