We are finally nearing the end of a long renovation and were excited to order some finishing touches to the bathroom. We saved up to spend 529eur on a bathroom mirror with lighting and warming functions.
The delivery was fast and when it arrived we were excited to see it. We had a look at the mirror, it looked fine and we didn't see any damage (we didn't take the foil off yet - the fatal mistake) and then proceeded to unpack and hang it to see it in the space. It was only then once we removed the foil, that we noticed that it had clearly been dropped either during transport or in the warehouse as the corner of the frame was dented and there was a small break in the corner of the glass.
Admittedly we made a silly mistake and we explained this. In our excitement we missed the warning on the box that you are supposed to fully remove all the coverings and check the mirror for any signs of damage before removing the red sticker over the hanging hole and trying to hang it. We didn't even get the mirror hanging on the wall before we noticed the damage, however because we started, this now means that we are stuck with a broken mirror and cannot replace it. The best we have been offered is a discount to buy a new one but it will still cost us over 300eur. We dont really feel like giving another 300 to this company to be honest. They also dont have any option to help repair the damage.
Overall a very disappointing customer service and a company who clearly have no trust in their customers.
