The soft toy was delivered in a brievenbuspakje which meant it was squashed down in order to fit in the 3cm-high box. It was also put directly in the cardboard brievenbuspakje box with no paper or plastic at all to protect it (imagine if the cardboard package had fallen in a puddle or been left in the rain).
On the other hand, this meant that the delivery was quicker and smoother (no need to go to pick up a bigger parcel) and also plastic-free!
