Why is my projects report no longer in chronological order?

I bill my clients based on my most recent projects. All of a sudden the list is in no order that i can make sense of, not alphabetical, or time spent, or chronological. it means i need to command F every time i want to see how much time i spent on a project. very annoying and no idea why this change was made - there doesn't seem to be an option to change it back.
