Poor. In general I've been satisfied with the kappersakademie in the past, but this time was awful. I asked for short on sides, longer on top, and said "whatever looks good". The hairdresser constantly kept stopping and asking me "is this high enough" when buzzing the sides, "do you want this back bit shorter or longer than the middle" when holding up random hairs on the top. I have no idea, that's why I get people to cut my hair. I have, in my entire life, never had someone ask me how high to bring the sides up. I explained to her how I usually style it, in the hopes that she would understand that I didn't want the "sides" to end at the tops of my ears. I made the mistake of asking for a bit shorter closer to the ears as now I have random chunks of short hair #2 in a overall #3 in the least attractive "fade" I've ever seen. I have literal holes.
I get that this is a place for learning, and I fully expect there to sometimes be problems. In fact, my girlfriend finds this haircut hilarious and can't stop laughing when she sees it, so silver linings. What I don't like is that there was no teacher intervention at the end to attempt to fix up any mistakes, and I walked out looking like Simple Jack, with my face absolutely covered in dry hair clippings.
Now I have to go pay for a SECOND haircut to fix these mistakes.
