I find the statement of 'if anything is falsified in the application letter, then we keep the deposit sent in'. I find this a very strong statement and unpleasant to work with.
Further, there was a phase in the application phase where one had to send the money within 24 hours or by the next day. That was stressful.
While I assume these are filters/assessments, these experiences made the application process more stressful than it needed to be.
