A nightmare and total waste of time!
SCL picked up my 2 Volvo's from USA to be delivered in the NL's.
I also purchased insurance for both cars to be sure.
Later they informed me that the catalytic converter of one has been cut off (sawed off!) and stolen from their garage in SC!
Did they fix it? Yes and No!! ... please read on.
After many emails/phone calls to follow up they asked for a repair quotation from a Volvo dealer in the area but at the last moment they decided to go with another dealer installing aftermarket parts for the car. I would not mind that except that "Check Engine" would come up all the time after the delivery in the NLs. Again, I really had to spend the time and find Volvo dealers (recall that we are new in the NLs) and each time my trip to the dealer had to be "authorized" by SCL and their agent in USA.
Finally, after several trips to dealer in the NLs and a few changes here and there the Volvo dealer in the NLs suggested a repair costing approx. 600 Euros. Did SCL Rotterdam pay for it? No way! they stated that sorry ... the cost for repair is exceeding the car price, so we cannot pay! So I had to pay this out of my own pocket.
They also delivered the cars with soiled foot and hand prints all over the place with several scratches here and there for both cars. I am attaching the pictures for your information. Did they fix these? Not really!
SCL Rotterdam comes across as a professional, customer oriented agency, but be prepared: should things go wrong in one way or another, SCL tends to waste your time for several months before they cut you loose without taking responsibility for their jobs. In general SCL Rotterdam, based on my experience, fails to help customers.

Needs to pay attention to customers service. While I bought trip insurance from SCL Rotterdam, my car was broken into while under the care of SCL Rotterdam. They denied fully repairing the car stating that the value of the car is lower than the requisite repair costs!
